coastal views and seascapes

The Scottish North East coastline has been the main influence of my recent work.

The contrast between the warm red sandstone rocks and cliffs with the cold blue seas is one recurring theme in my work.

A second theme is the power of the waves.

The sparkling reflections in the sea, especially at dawn and sunset is a third theme.
